El otro día estaba viendo una película sobre París, y según iban avanzando las escenas no paraba de imaginarme el otro París, el París nocturno que retrató Brassai. Un París con dos caras, una felíz y una cruel que se entremezclan. Un París de luces y sombras que es difícil de igualar.
Y es a Brassai a quien quiero dedicar este post, este fotógrafo nacido el 9 de septiembre de 1899 en Brassó (de ahí su pseudónimo) , y que en 1924 decide irse a vivir a París, ciudad en la que residirá hasta el fin de sus días.
En sus obras muestra la ciudad que de la que se enamoró, ciudad que recorría de noche mostrando sus callejones, escaleras, personajes y callejuelas. Aquí os dejo algunas de las imágenes de este inspirador fotógrafo que, al menos a mí, consiguió apasionarme y atraparme en este mundo que es la fotografía.
