Luego de ver el primer teaser trailer de la nueva versión de The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo no me quedaron dudas de que a pesar de tratarse del remake gringo de la saga, daría mucho de que hablar y tenia bastante potencial de convertirse en un éxito este año.
Y es que con la dirección del talentoso David Fincher (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, La red social,Se7en,El club de la pelea) y Trent Reznor y Karen O a la cabeza del Soundtrack bueno, digamos que no es muy difícil convencer a cualquiera.
Para saciar la sed cinéfila, Sony Pictures dio a conocer nuevas fotos y una descripción de los personajes de la nueva versión de La chica con el tatuaje del dragón el que protagonizan Daniel Craig como el periodista Mikael Blomkvist, Rooney Mara como la enigmática Lisbeth Salander,Robin Wright como Erika Berger, el sueco Stellan Skarsgård como Martin Vanger y Christopher Plummer como Henrik Vanger.
La película se estrena el 21 de Diciembre de 2011 en Estados Unidos y está basada en el Best Seller del sueco Stieg Larsson quien murió antes de terminar la saga Millenium.
La primera parte de esta trilogía tiene por titulo original Los hombres que no amaban a las mujeres y sigue los acontecimientos que llevan al periodista Mikael Blomkvist a desenterrar los misterios de la poderosa familia Vanger al mismo tiempo que investiga la desaparición en 1966 de la sobrina de Henrik Vanger, Harriet, que ha sido dada por muerta. En su investigación se topa con Lisbeth Salander una hacker solitaria, antisocial y bastante particular quién ayudará al periodista en esta búsqueda.
