A pesar de que en sus films son habituales las referencias al género, Quentin Tarantino ha tardado trece años en darle forma a Django Unchained, su primer western oficial (que no convencional).
Le ha costado más de lo habitual, tal vez por tratarse de su género favorito, y como os podréis imaginar. Empezó con una idea clara en la cabeza pero, a lo largo del proceso de creación del guion, la historia fue evolucionando y lo que iba a ser el simple relato de un esclavo que se convierte en cazador de recompensas, como no podría ser de otra manera, se fue complicando hasta convertirse en un homenaje al spaguetti western.
Ahora, aprovechando el próximo desembarco del film en cines de Estados Unidos, Vertigo/DC Comics publicará el 19 de diciembre el primero de los tres números que compondrán la versión cómic de Django Unchained. Pero con una peculiaridad, y es que para la adaptación se han basado en el guion original del director, es decir, en la primera versión del guion que el propio Tarantino acabó desechando (al menos en parte).
Eso se traduce en que los personajes del cómic dibujado por R.M. Guéra no serán exactamente iguales a los interpretados en la gran pantalla por Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz y Leornardo DiCaprio, algo realmente interesante sobre todo para los que nos gusta analizar y escribir guiones.
